Adam's Way

About Us

In January 2025, we shared an image created on chatgpt of a building where people with and without disabilities would live

Fast forward one year, The Next Step Programs and its partners acquired the property at 180–190 S. Clinton Street in Doylestown, Pennsylvania, marking a major milestone in bringing Adam’s Way to life.

Planned as a 50,000-square-foot mixed-use development, Adam’s Way will include approximately 40 mixed-income apartment homes, ground-floor commercial space, and intentional design that advances accessibility while preserving the charm of the surrounding community.

Leveraging the voices of those with disabilities

We believe inclusive communities must be shaped by the people who will call them home. Adam’s Way intentionally centers the voices of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, incorporating their feedback into design decisions, shared spaces, and community planning.

Partnering with union architects

Adam’s Way is proud to partner with Union Studio Architecture & Community Design as the project’s lead architect. Union Studio brings deep expertise in mixed-use, community-centered development, and our teams are actively advancing concept design, which is anticipated to be completed in April 2026.
